"BASIC INFO"

My is name Simo. I am a 22 year old black video game/virtual world photographer and videographer. Born and raised in Guyana, now located in Brooklyn, NY... I believe my purpose on this planet is to simply create, evolve, inspire and be inspired. My end goal is to take my talents to the real world some day and having dabbled into every area revolving around visual arts, as the sky is not the limit for me.

Most of my free time goes to photography, videography, listening to music as well as discovering new music, or picking up a new skill. I really just enjoy the peace of mind that comes with being to myself, creating and minding my business. It's more than likely the Gemini in me.

My work is specially and authentically crafted using both in-game and external photo tools and editorial resources such as Photoshop, Procreate, and Lightroom. There is no use of AI.

"THE PROCESS"

Music plays a huge role in the process and outcome of my photos. I occasionally go based on references, but I always end up doing my own thing in the end.I just hit play on my favorite playlists and allow the music to guide me, it's as simple as that. The process is really just me observing my inner-child create, I guess my role is to just be the DJ.And it is because of this fact that my artistic technique(s) can convey so much diversity yet maintain a sense of cohesiveness. It all stems from music and an experimental place.

My work is pretty scattered across different platforms, so there will be certain gaps in content. Everything you see is roughly 35% of my makings. Some projects I haven't gotten around to sharing just yet, while others are kept private for personal reasons. But feel free to connect with me. I'm always grateful for any genuine support, and rest assured it will always be reciprocated.
